I am a self-taught director, born and raised in Milan. I started my career editing and directing TV shows, music videos, documentaries at Mtv and I think it was a weird coincidence that I started working for the major worldwide music company when music was my passion since I was young. When I was a kid I used to listen to classical music with my mum. She often asked me to blindly guess which orchestral instrument was playing. It was very fun and challenging for a very young boy try to do that. A few years later music became a real job and a “passe-partout” to the moving image world. My first job in the movie industry was to make the original score for an Mtv show's promo. After that experience I discovered a new passion that put together video and sound and that lead me to work with images. Since then, I have directed for several Italian networks such as MTV, NICKELODEON, MEDIASET, and SKY for whom I directed and edited many multi-camera TV shows, TV promos, commercials and live music events also released on DVD. I have also directed internationally renowned artists such as Moby, Bob Geldof, and Backstreet Boys and recently I have directed the biggest rock band on earth "ROCKIN’1000" covering two big events at STADEFRANCE in Paris and at COMMERZBANK-ARENA in Frankfurt. In the last years I focused my attention on developing some original TV show formats and some of them have been also aired worldwide. I strive every day to find out stories that inspire me in bringing innovative shows to life.
